What your child finds in GunHype and how they are protected.
GunHype is a turn-based strategy and aiming game in a cartoon style, with no graphic violence and no free chat. Nobody exchanges text messages with strangers inside the game.
Age
Accounts are open from age 12. From 12 to 17, the protections below turn on automatically.
No free chat
Nobody can type free messages in the game, at any age. During a match, communication uses only map pings, emotes and preset phrases picked from a fixed list. There are no private messages.
Protections for under-18s
- The game asks for an age range (never a birth date) and turns protections on automatically.
- Nobody sees when a minor is online, and their profile does not appear on the public ranking.
- There are no daily streaks that punish taking a break, and no optional usage tracking.
- Blocking and reporting are one tap away.
Money
- Playing is free and nothing that gives an advantage is sold.
- There are no paid random items, no betting and no cash prizes.
- Nothing expires and there are no ticking-clock offers that pressure decisions.
Data
Playing requires an account with a nickname, email and password. The email is only for signing in on any device and resetting the password, never for marketing; the game asks for no phone or ID. You can download or delete all account data (email and password included) from the Dashboard or in Settings → Your data in the game. See Privacy.
Groups outside the game
GunHype has no official group on social networks or chat apps for now. Any group claiming to be official is not ours. Official announcements go out only in News.
